The choices of night life in Altinkum are vast. During the summer there are bars, pubs and clubs lining the sea front and the town centre. There are many restaurants that offer various cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Turkish and English and usually liven up after 10 o’clock with a bit of dancing and lively music. Most restaurants offer a free taxi service if you want to go back to your hotel or onto somewhere a bar or club. Along the seafront and in the town centre you will find entertainment ranging from karaoke, belly dancing and discos, to bingo and pool. There are numerous opportunities for shopping in Altinkum although you must be prepared to haggle! The best place for bargains is the local market held in the town (Yenihisar) every Saturday and can be reached by Dolmus (local mini bus) from the resort centre. You can buy everything from your groceries (especially fresh fruit and veg) to clothes and household essentials from the market. However, there are local shops and supermarkets close by. We would advise you use the big supermarkets such as Migros, Tansas and Gima rather than the smaller stores as you will get more for your money. There is also the Didyma Shopping Centre and Dolphin Square that offer a wide range of shops.

Along the golden beaches and turquoise seas there are sun beds and umbrellas available for hire. There are also numerous water sports available including jet skis, scuba diving, banana boats, windsurfing and pedaloes. You can arrange to go on one of the many boat trips and tour that are on offer and can take you to numerous destinations. This is an ideal opportunity to visit and experience some of neighboring resorts and towns.
